At Chalk N Pencils, we run birthday parties the way they should be: organised, creative, and genuinely engaging for kids.

DROP-OFF PARTY

Parents can relax at New Bahru's cafes and shops while we handle everything. No need to supervise or entertain. We manage the full 2 hours, from the moment kids arrive to cake cutting at the end.

CUSTOMISED TO YOUR THEME

Your child's current obsession becomes their party. We've created projects for dinosaurs, minecraft, unicorns, sports teams, favourite animals - you name it. Share the theme, and we'll design an age-appropriate art project around it.

PROPER ART INSTRUCTION

Not just entertainment. Our instructors are trained art teachers who guide kids through real techniques. Children learn skills while creating work they're genuinely excited about. Projects are structured to match the age group and ability level.

KEEP TO 30 KIDS ENGAGED

We know how to manage large groups of excited children. The activities are designed to keep everyone occupied and productive for the full session. Clear instructions, proper pacing, minimal chaos.

CONVENIENT LOCATION

New Bahru has parking, restaurants, and shops. Easy access from River Valley, Orchard, and the East.

Our daughter had a birthday party with Priscilla and her team. I have to say all kids enjoyed it. It was very well organized from the beginning to the end. And as a bonus kids bring home piece of art 😉. The location of the studio is great. You can enjoy many shops and restaurants while you will be waiting when the session is done. I highly recommend it!

We recently celebrated our son's birthday at Chalk n Pencils, New Bahru. It was a hot wheels-themed party requested by the birthday boy. All thanks to Priscilia, the founder's creative ideas, as well as her team's mock-up in the preparation stages, the actual day turned up awesome despite some initial hiccups. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and even brought home their handmade and designed craftwork which looked legitly like the real deal!

Just had an ART-ful birthday party session for my 7 year old's birthday at Chalks and Pencils at New Bahru. They made the enquiry and booking process so seamless and easy. The studio space is large and inviting and Priscilia and her team were really well skilled at handling the 13 children. They were well organised and guided the children patiently and expertly. The children were so happy with their finished artwork and it was also packaged nicely for them to bring it back home. My daughter and her friends had a truly enjoyable art session. Location is excellent, especially as it was a drop off session and the other parents could wait at the many cafes and restaurants in the building. The birthday girl declared it as, the best party ever!

Ms Priscilla and her team pulled off an amazing glow in the dark space party - it was such an exciting and fun session for the kids! We were amazed at how much the kids can achieve in 2 hours (learnt to work on canvas, explored glow in the dark colours, fun with glow sticks, songs, cake cutting). Such an amazing place for a birthday party! Our daughter and her friends really enjoyed making their own plushies - they all felt a sense of accomplishment and were proud to showcase it to their parents! The team were super great as well, a great number of staff there to help the kids, providing support and guidance. Even helping with photo and video taking! The set up included balloons, table and cake stand and they were very flexible with the food/cakes and time for eating! Highly highly recommend for a party! 🎉

How our Art Parties work

Heres all the nitty gritty you need to know about our birthday packages, if you still have questions reach out!

Before the Party

1. Check Availability
WhatsApp us with your preferred date and estimated guest count. We'll confirm if that date is available.

2. Choose Your Theme
Tell us what your child is interested in. We'll design an age-appropriate art activity around it.

3. Finalize Details
Guest count, any add-ons, dietary notes for cake cutting, and e-invite details.

4. Secure Your Date
50% non-refundable deposit to confirm booking. Final payment due 7 days before the party.

Party Day

Setup (15 minutes before)
You can arrive early to set up your cake and any additional decorations. We'll have the studio decorated with balloons and banner.

Party Time (2 hours)
We manage the entire session. Kids create their artwork, we guide them through techniques, handle any mess, and keep everyone on track. Last 15 minutes reserved for cake cutting.

Pickup
Please collect the children within 15 minutes after the party ends. We often have back-to-back bookings and need time to turn over the space.

Q1 2026 weekends are booking quickly. We recommend booking 6-8 weeks in advance, especially for weekend parties.
