We’ve put together answers to the most common questions from parents, so you can feel informed and at ease before joining us in the studio. If there’s anything else you’re wondering about, just drop us a message – we’re always happy to help.
1. What is the appropriate age range for your children's art classes?
We offer programmes tailored for different developmental stages, typically starting from 3 years old up to teenagers. Classes are usually grouped by age bracket (e.g., 3-4 years, 5-6 years, 7-12 years, 13+ years) to ensure the curriculum and peer interaction are appropriate for every child. Please check the specific class schedule for the exact age group requirements.
2. My child is a complete beginner. Will they be able to keep up?
Absolutely! Our philosophy is centred on nurturing creative potential at any stage. Our classes are designed to be supportive and encouraging, allowing children to learn at their own pace. Instructors focus on providing individualised guidance, ensuring that every child, regardless of prior experience, feels confident and successful in their creative journey.
3. What kind of art mediums and techniques do you teach?
We believe in exposure to a diverse range of mediums to develop well-rounded skills. Our programmes cover drawing, painting (acrylic, watercolour, tempera), sculpture, print-making, collage, and mixed media exploration. Children learn fundamental techniques in line, form, colour theory, and composition through fun, engaging projects.
4. Are all art materials included in the class fees?
Yes, all essential art materials required for the class projects are provided and included in the programme fees. We use high-quality, non-toxic, and child-safe materials. This means you won't need to purchase or bring any supplies, making the process simple and convenient for parents.
5. Can I join my child during the class?
Our regular classes are drop-off sessions designed to promote independence, encourage peer interaction, and allow children to concentrate entirely on their creative work in the studio. Nonetheless, some parents attend their own Adult Art Class during this time.
6. Do you offer trial classes before committing to a full term?
Yes, we offer discounted trial classes for children who are new to our studio. A trial class is the perfect way for your child to experience our teaching style and environment before enrolling for a full term. Please contact us directly or visit our booking page to schedule a trial.
7. What are your policies for make-up sessions or cancellations?
Our make-up and cancellation policies are detailed in our terms and conditions upon enrolment. Generally, we offer a limited number of make-up sessions for excused absences, subject to class availability. Please speak to our admin team regarding any scheduling concerns you may have.
