Chalk II
5 - 6 years old
Chalk II is a 5-6-year-old art class designed to help students develop their fine motor skills and unleash their creative potential. With a focus on exploration and experimentation, our experienced teachers will guide your child through various art media, including pencils, paints, and more. With a small teacher-student ratio, our experienced instructors provide individualised attention to each student, ensuring they receive the support they need to reach their full potential. Through our art classes, we aim to help students develop a love of learning, improve their hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, foster imaginative thinking and self-expression, and develop important social skills such as teamwork and collaboration.
What We Teach
Painting
During our painting sessions, your child will be introduced to various materials and surfaces to paint on. This exposure will help them to experiment and discover their own preferences and style, leading to a better understanding of different painting mediums and techniques.
Drawing
Drawing is a crucial part of the art-making process, and we believe in fostering a love for it from a young age. Our classes will encourage creative drawing, teaching students to observe their surroundings and imagine the possibilities. By observing the world around them, they’ll develop their observation skills, creativity and imagination.
Motor Skills
As your child becomes more confident with handling tools, we will guide them in refining their fine motor skills. This will involve exercises that help to build dexterity, hand-eye coordination and control over the tools they use. Improving their motor skills will also enable them to create more detailed artwork, leading to increased confidence and self-expression through their art.
